Today I was reminded of something I learned from Lynn Grabhorn…at least that is where I believe I learned it.

Anyway, I grabbed my Playbook and looked it up.  On page 140-143, she discusses the Principle #4  Flip-Switching” is the key!

I will share what she has to say about it because I love her straight-forward (yes, in my face) writing style!

“This is it!  This is the big banana!  This is what will turn your life into magic.  How fast?  That depends on how much Flip-Switching you do:  how often, how long, how intense, how willing, how diverse, how colorful, how stimulating, how entertaining, how appealing.

Flip-Switching is nothing more than changing your frequency from low to high, but right now.  It is simple to do, but not easy to remember, because most of the day we feel ‘normal’ and find no need to change.  We’re not in any kind of negative downer, we’re not angry at the world, we’re not blaming anybody for anything, we’re just being ‘normal’ which means operating consistently in low frequencies.  Doing this won’t bring you much of anything except your basic, everyday struggle in the form of problems, aches and pains, fender-benders, house break-ins, crappy relationships, and a perpetually short supply of funds.  But learn to Flip-Switch, and you’ve got a whole new world out there.

The key to Flip-Switching is to do it when you feel okay (normal low frequency), not just when your marriage is about to break up, you’re going bankrupt, and you just lost your job.  It’s about performing the very difficult task of feeling good–really good–every single second you can possibly remember to do it.  Since it is a near impossibility to have our frequencies high twelve hours a day, then Flip-Switching steps in to become the tool of preference to push us up there.  No one will do this for us, it is something we must do consciously, eagerly, and enthusiastically, or it will fizzle.

You can Flip-Switch:

when yoe’re driving the car
when you’re on the phone
when you’re out for a walk
when you’re going to the john
when you’re grabbing a Danish and coffee
when you’re on the subway
when you’re at a board meeting
when you’re feeling great (as opposed to just good), to raise your frequencies from high to higher
when you’re making love
when you’re having a heart-to-heart with the kids
when you’re down, over anything
when you’re frightened, worried, nervous, concerned, edgy, impatient, troubled, vulnerable, uneasy, uptight, depressed, frantic, insecure, sad, doubtful, unsure, ashamed, or happy!

All the time.  Any time.  Just Do it.

Flow positive out, get positive back, both personally and worldwide.

It IS All About The Light. You BE The Light.

Four Techniques of Turning On with Flip-Switching

Here are the four basic ways to Flip-Switch.  Use any or all.  When you’re down in a deep bummer, use the talking ones.  When you’re feeling okay, use any or all of the turn-ons.  Or vice versay.  It doesn’t matter.  All that matter is that you walk with your valve more open than closed, off automatic, aware of your joy, and flowing bukets of happy, high frequency source energy to transform your world.

  1.  Flow Appreciation-Focus on anything, from a piece of dust to a tree to a bug to a street sign, and flood that sucher with appreciation.  Pour it out until you feel warm fuzzies all over you.  Feel the frequency change, feel the adoration, love, respect, and gratitude pour from you for this thing until you feel that familiar happy buzz throughout your body.
  2. Inner Smile Jump Start-This is a good jump-start for any kind of Flip-Switching.  Begin by putting a meaningful smile on your face, not a smirk, but a real, honest smile.  It’s the kind of smile and feeling you’d have at seeing a mom hold a newborn babe or watching little puppies tumble and play.  Feel it grow warmly inside you until you’re encased in the glow of this gentle inner smile.
  3. Tough-Talk it Out-This is an out loud, you-to-you talk that is tough, firm, harsh, factual, and grossly unsympathetic.  It is tough love at its best as you can tell yourself what a dork you’re being for acting this way or feeling that way.  Tough talk is often the only way to feeeel yourself out of a crappy situation.  It may take five minutes or an hour, but once calmed down, you can then find a way to lighten up.
  4. Tender-Talk it Out-This is good by itself, and great right after Tough Talking,  You are talking to yourself, out loud, with the love of a parent toward a little one who just fell off his bike or lost his pet frog.  As you feel your tenderness flowing to yourself, feel also the buzz in your body from your raised frequencies.  Lovingly and tenderly assure yourself that everything will really be all right.  Because it will.

See The LIGHT!

Flowing Appreciation (Practice)

The closest frequency to that which we are is appreciation.

Take each object listed below, and for a full minute flow out deep appreciation.  Keep your focus steady, and try to feel the frequency of your body change as you flood the object with your profound appreciation.  take one at a time , and focus for at least a minute on each.  Now go for it!  Check off each one as you finish.

The nearest wall
A book or notebook
One of your shoes
A light or lampshade
A chair
The rug or floor
Your pen or pencil
A watch or piece of jewelry

Those objects were obviously all inside.  Next, when you’re driving around, do the same thing with oddball objects, like street lamps, buses, mailboxes, buildings, etc.  It the spaces below, list ten more goofy things you could practice flowing appreciation to while driving your car, only this time you’ll make each ‘flow shot’ last only a few seconds.  All objects must be outside the car, things you see regularly as you drive.  When–and only when–you’ve felt the shift in frequency take place as you flow energy to each, check it off when you return.

Most of the above is right out of ‘Excuse Me Your Life Is Waiting Playbook’ Revised Edition.

Thrive Light...

I am light…a spark.

Now, before you freak out and say…but I am not driving.

Go ahead and modify the challenge to work for you.

I may or may not go drive anywhere today.

Maybe you can not drive (been there…it sucked)!

Then just look around you and pick random things to flow appreciate.

You can do this, even if you are not driving.

No excuses.

Just do it.

Make it your own.

You are the light

I actually did this today, because I was not really ‘feeling like’ making a Facebook Live Video.

I sometimes wake up without a bunch of energy and excitement (especially to go on Live camera).  Probably a fear thing- and inexperience…although I am just doing it anyway and learning as I go along.  Thanks for being patient with me, but the way

I am flooding YOU with appreciation and gratitude right now.

Can you feel it.

I am sending it.

When ever you see this, it will still be flowing TO you.  (That is one of those cool things about time being a ‘construct’)…ok, that might be a bit too far out for now.

My point is.

Do this.

At least give it a shot.

Expect it to work for you.

Because I guarantee it will…

but only if YOU believe it…

and actually do it.

Change Happens when you say, “I deserve something better: and start to go out and get it!

Today let’s have our challenge be about DESERVABILITY.

Probably should have done this topic and exercise the first couple of days of the challenge…but I did not.

Let’s do it now.

From Louise Hay, although I have been exposed to the idea of “not good enough”, “not worthy”, and don’t deserve (all FALSE BELIEFS, by the way) from lots of sources.

Just happened to come across this exercise this morning and thought it would be an excellent f99it with the challenge.

Page 13-19 of the You Can Heal Your Life Companion Book by Louise Hay deal with the subject of deservability.

“Sometines we refuse to put any effort into creating a good life for ourselves because we believe that we don’t deserve it.  the belief that we aren’t deserving usually comes from our early childhood experiences.  Perhaps we were told that we couldn’t have what we wanted if we didn’t ear all our food, clean our room or put our toys away. Or maybe we were subjected to abuse.  We could be buying into amother person’s concept or opinion that has nothing to do with our own reality.

Deserving has everything to do with having good in our lives.  It’s our unwillingness to accept that  gets in the way.  Allow yourself to accept good, whether you think you deserve it or not.”

YOU Are!

Exercise:  Deservability

Answer the following questions as best you can.  They will help you understand the power of deservability.

  1.  What do you want that you do not have now?  be clear and specific about your desires.
  2. What were the Laws/rules in your home about deserving?  Did they tell you that “you don’t deserve” or “you deserve a good smack”?  Did your parents feel deserving?  Did you always have to earn in order to deserve ?  Did earning work for you?  Were you told that you were no good?  Or that sinners don’t deserve?  Were things taken away from you when you did something wrong?
  3. Do you feel that you deserve?  What is the thought that comes up:  “Later, when I earn it” or “I have to work for it first”?  Are you good enough?  Will you ever be good enough?
  4. Do you deserve to live?  Why?  Why not?  Were you ever told, “You deserve to die”?  If so, was this part of your religious upbringing?
  5. What do you have to live for?  What is the purpose in your life?  What meaning have you created?  Are you filled with joy when you awaken?
  6. Whom do you need to forgive in order to deserve?  Bitterness pus a wall around our heart and makes it difficult for us to receive.
  7. What do you deserve?  Do you believe:  “I deserve love and joy and all good”?  Or do you feel deep down that you deserve nothing?  Why?  Where id the message come from?  Are you willing to let it go?  What are you willing to put in its place?  Remember, these are thoughts, and thoughts can be changed.

You can see that personal power is affected by the way we perceive our deservability.  Try this next treatment.  Put most simply, treatments are positive statements made in any given situation to establish new thought patterns, and dissolve old ones.

Worthy Of Me

Glad To Be ME

Deservability Treatment

I am one with Life, and all of Life loves and supports me.  I am deserving.  I deserve all good.  Not some, not a little bi, but all good.  I now move past all negative, restricting thoughts.  I release and leg go of the limitations of my parents.  I can love them, and I can go beyond them.  I am not their negative opinions, nor their limiting beliefs.  I am not bound by any of the fears or prejudices of the current society I live in.  I no longer identify with limitation of any kind.  In my mind, I have total freedom.  I now move into a new space of consciousness, where I am willing to see myself differently.  I am willing to create new thoughts about myself and about my life.  My new thinking becomes new experiences.  I now know and affirm that I am one with the Prospering Power of the Universe.  As such, I now prosper in a number of ways.  The totaliity of possibilities lies before me.  I deserve a good life.  I deserve an abundance of love.  I deserve good health.  I deserve to live comfortably and to prosper.  I deserve joy and happiness.  I deserve freedom to be all that I can be.  I deserve more than that.  I deserve all good.  The univers is more than willing to manifest my new beliefs.  This is the truth of my being, and I accept it as so.  All is good in my world.”

So, I did this exercise today too.

I have not done it for a long time, so I figured I needed it too.

Afterall, I am doing this challenge as much for me as anything else.

I am not one of those folks who goes into the past and tries to work everything out and give it some sort of meaning.

Works for some people, not for me.

I find it a big waste of time and would rather focus on what I want and moving forward.

That may just be me.

If you have serious issues from the past that are impacting you (and if you have chronic pain, chances are, you do)  you may want to seek the help of qualified professionals.

There are all sorts of ways to deal with letting go of the past…past life regression, hypnosis, counseling, inner child work…just to name a few.

For me, I believe it doesn’t matter what happened in the past…

I can not change it.

Chances are, my interpretation of events are somewhat distorted (after playing some experiences over and over and over again in my mind 100s or even 1000s of times…ask me about the fat and ugly story some time).

I would father do something now, than be slowed down by things I can only change my thinking about or by letting go of.

I know people who have spent decades in therapy, and are still stuck.

That is NOT FOR ME.

But, like everything else, that I or anyone else (and I mean ANYONE) tell you…

you need to FILTER with your intuition and decide if it is right for you.

Lots of folks NEED these deeper dives into things to move forward.

You DO KNOW what that is.

Be honest with yourself and ASK FOR HELP when and if you need it.

What Want. Begin.

Begin With The End In Mind

I am a self-starter (a friend of mine recently shared this term with me)…

I am driven to seek out and find my own answers.

I can not wait for someone else to come up with them for me or to tell me what I should do for me…

and how the heck do they know anyway?

A doctor I spend 15 minutes with (thank you insurance companies) can barely glimpse my chart, much less listen to what I have to say about what is going on with me and draw conclusions…

Expecting a lot of others…doesn’t work for me.

I choose to research and dig in and ask questions and study and learn and explore what is ‘out there in the world’ that might be helpful for me and my unique situation.

I encourage you to do the same…

take charge of your life and your health and your pain.

Do not think, for one minute, someone else will do it for you…

unless you happen to be under 13…then maybe you can expect someone else

to carry the ball for you.  (Probably not even then…parents do the best we can, but we hate to see our kids suffer and often do not know what to do.  I would recommend if one of your children does have chronic pain…YOU do what I suggest for them.  Research, dig, learn, look for answers…and don’t stop until you find them and get your loved one whatever they need to live a happy, healthy life)

But I digress.

We All Deserve A Healthy, Happy, Pain Free Live Experience.

If you disagree with this, you should probably stop listening to me and this 30 Day Chronic Pain Challenge.

So, on my personal journey, I have listened to thousands of hours of ‘programs’ both on and off line.

Take What YOU Need!

Take What YOU Need!

One such program is by Darius Barazandeh from You Wealth Revolution.  It is an on-line program (about 8 years now..) that interviews specialist and healers from all different ‘modalities’.  I started listening to and buying deeper work of some of the guest experts he had on the calls back before it was called You Wealth Revolution…do not remember the name of the program back then.

Anyway, he always had on interesting guests, who expanded my thinking and beliefs in ways I had never experienced before.

At the end of each interview he would ask each guest to share their ONE piece of advice that they would like to give to his listeners.

Harrison Klein was one of the guests and his advice was “you are enough” and I burst into tears.  Fortunately I was home alone in my living room.  This was a clear sign to me that I had some ‘stuff’ in my past that was contributing to by illnesses and pain (from my past) that needed to be dealt with or let go of.

This was my first exposure to the ‘I am not good enough” false belief (which is similar to deservability).

So many of us that have health issues and especially those that are accompanied by chronic pain have some sort of STUCK fear emotions…many that stem from the I am not good enough, I don’t deserve, I am not worthy (or some form of these) FALSE BELIEFS.

Forgive For U

Forgive Them. ALl of Thems. The more of Thems you can forgive…THE LIGHTER YOU’LL Feel!

How do you know they are false?

Say them to yourself and see how they make you feel.

For example, when you say I am not good enough, how does that make you feel?

Does it make you feel heavier or lighter?

How about, I don’t deserve perfect health or I deserve this pain.

How does that make you feel?

If you ask yourself a question, any question, and it make you feel heavier…IT IS NOT TRUE FOR YOU (or a lie, false belief)

If you ask yourself a question or make a statement about yourself and it makes you feel lighter (or a positive emotion), than it IS TRUE FOR YOU.

Your Body/Feelings do not lie.  They tap into your true self (inner being) and tell you the truth of what is and is not right for you.

The KEY is to listen to them!!!

So often we do not.

Stop it.

I have come to believe that all negative emotions and false beliefs stem from fear.

What do you think?

Third: Power Thought Card

“I am willing to change”

“I am willing to release old, negative beliefs.  They are only thoughts that stand in my way.  My new thoughts are positive and fulfilling.”

...best days...

Some of the best days of your life haven’t happened yet…

Fourth: Afformation

I am choosing me.

I am choosing me right now.

That’s Your Soul Talking…

Today’s challenge is to “Trust Your Intuitive Heart”…

How often do you listen to and honor (as in follow the direction) your intuition?

You know, that feeling in your gut (at least for me) that tells you what to do…

I found an exercise in Richard Carlson’s “Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff Workbook” that is right in line with this challenge.

He says…”Trusting your intuitive heart means listening to and trusting that quiet inner voice that knows what it is you need to do.”

Well, you might be asking, HOW THE HECK DO I DO THAT?

“Start by setting aside quiet time to clear you mind and listen. Ignore self-defeating thoughts that come to mind, and pay attention to the calm thoughts that surface.  You’ll find that when you respond to your intuitive heart, you’ll often be rewarded with positive, loving experiences.”

Ah, really?

How often do we NOT listen to our ‘gut’ and end up in hot water?

Well you might not have ever done that, but I sure have.

And the funny thing is…

I ALWAYS KNEW at the time, that I was making a mistake.

By mistake, I mean ‘not the right choice for me’.

Know Yourself

Knowing Me Is The Beginning Of All Wisdom…

“Start trusting you intuitive heart today.  If you don’t know where to get started, try these exercises below.  They require that you clear your mind and really try to get inside yourself.  Write your memories in the blank spaces.  You’ll be on your way.”

  1.  Think back to the time before you started school. (If you can’t remember back that far, think back as far as you can.)  Try to remember a particularly happy moment.  What made it so pleasurable?
  2. Think back to preschool or kindergarten, when you had a choice to make between activities.  How do you think you made a decision about what to do?
  3. Try to remember a time when you were taking a school test and faced a particularly hard time deciding between two equally tempting answers.  How did you decide?
  4. Think of a time when you had a deadline to make and were so tired or stressed that you set aside your work for a while and were later able to resume your work refreshed.  How did you know what to do?
  5. Think of a time when you were doing a project (woodworking, sewing, or whatever) and you reached a snag that you were able to get out of without resorting to help from instructions or someone else.
  6. Think of a physical activity that you do well.  How do you know what to do when?
  7. Try to remember a time when you were able to tell what was troubling someone without knowing how you knew.  How might you have figured it out?
  8. Think about a time when you were trying so hard to solve some kind of problem that your brain actually felt tired.  You stopped thinking, then all of a sudden the answer came to you.  How do you think it happened?
  9. How do you know if you made the right or wrong career choice?
  10. How do you know if someone seems right for you?
  11. Now try clearing your mind.  What thoughts or feelings come to you?  What do they suggest you do to follow them?  Try this whenever you believe you are ‘overthinking.”

Do these questions SHOW you how your intuition works?

They help me identify my way of tapping into (listening) to my inner voice.

Heart Centered Thriving

Follow You Heart…

I contend that we know what is right for us,  what we WANT, what we need to do to get…whether we want to admit it or not.

Sometimes our ego gets in the way.  Pesky thing.

Sometimes we let the voices and opinions and beliefs of others, influence us.

We all do it…

or at least we have in the past.

But guess what?

The PAST is the PAST.

It does not matter one bit (unless you CHOOSE to let it impact your present and future)…not sure WHY you would want to do that…

but I be you know why, right?

You don’t have to tell me…or anyone else…just be HONEST with YOU!

Today…right now…begin figuring out how your INTUITION, you intuitive heart, you Being, you soul, your bigger self, you spirit (whatever you call it)…communicates to you.

I can guarantee it will make YOUR LIFE easier…

and less painful.

Third: Power Thought Card

“I express my creativity”

“My unique creative talents and abilities flow through me and are expressed in deeply satisfying ways.  My creativity is always in demand.”

Fourth: Afformation

I am in charge of what everything means.

I decide what everything means right now,

Why is it so easy for me to be in charge or what everything means (to me right now)?

Don’t Just Meet Your Goals…Destroy (Exceed) Them & Thrive!

Fifth: If This Is Your Life, Here Are The Rules Card:

“Formulate markers that acknowledge your progress and show you where energy or effort is needed.”

You are the navigator of your emotions and your life.

Nature Of Infinite Love & Gratitude Card:

“Emotions transform energy, energy creates movement, movement is change…and change is the essence of my life.  the more I choose to change, the more empowered I feel.  I am energy in motion.”

Sixth: Question?

What is in it for me?

How does it make you feel?

Seventh: Today’s Share Challenge

Share one time you did not follow your intuition…bonus if you share how it turned out for you!

That’s it for today.

Chronic Pain may be a part of your life, but it does not have to be your life.

See You Tomorrow,

This is our wrap up day on Lynn Grabhorn’s Tenet about well-being.

A Few Final Thoughts from Lynn and comments from me (you knew those were coming, right?)

“Force yourself to look for the well-being that is there,be it in government, the economy, wars, disasters, pestilence, localized massacres, relationships and even on TV.  Look for it and decide to find it!  By doing that, not only will you change the planet, you will bring endless buckets of well-being into your own life.  Guaranteed!”

“And so…

Open your own valve no matter what,

no matter what,

We can not be connected to well-being, and flowing well-being, without having well-being, because not one thing comes to us that does not match our vibration.”

“The bottom line is:

What we focus on is what we feel.

What we feel is what we vibrate.

What we vibrate is what we attract.

“When enough of us on this precious piece of real estate begin to get even a small amount of our negative energy turned to positive flow, wars will stop, trees will grow, suicides will be a thing of the past, prejudice will evaporate, natural disasters will all but cease.  Like attracts like.  That is the way it is.”

“Open valves connect us to our core energy, bringing well-being.  The more connected we are, the more well-being abounds.  Open your valve!

…There are many folks who talk about everything being energy…

If you want to know more…look it up.  That’s what I did.

I got curious and started checking things out.

I learned a ton.

Nothing I am sharing during these 30 days is ‘mine’.

Everything I am and all I know, is the culminations of all I have experienced up to this point in time.

I may have learned how to tap into various sources of knowledge, but I sure didn’t create them.

I like to think of myself as a sponge…

I wipe up lots of stuff and when I get saturated, I wring out the extra stuff that doesn’t serve me.

I am forever looking for things that make me feel better and are FOR me (in my best interests).

What those things are for me,

are surely different then the unique blend of things that are FOR YOU.

Your mission, your job, your purpose…

is to continue to search out and find the things that are FOR YOU.

It is kinda like treasure hunting.

How fun is that?

You must find the place inside yourself where nothing is impossible.

Do you know anyone with a metal detector?

My father-in-law had one.  He and my son would comb different places looking for treasures.  It was FUN.

That is what you want to do for you.

You want to be seeking out the “WHAT WORKS FOR ME” treasures and be filling up your treasure chest.

Fill it up with things you WANT.

Don’t put anything in it that you do not want.

It is YOUR treasure chest.

You decide what is and is not a treasure.

You decide what does and does not belong inside.

My treasure chest has nutrition, and exercise (yup, the real physical kind…with the exception of running and burpees…we have discussed those…they are NOT for me, so they are not in my treasure chest), and EFT, and tapping, and hypnosis, and supplements, and afformations, and card decks, and mentors, and books/programs, and coaches, and ONE prescription (for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest and the ICD in me), and meditation…the list goes on.

So let’s dive into one meditation today.

Meditation to me is just breathing and focusing my energy (remember everything is energy, so I mostly mean my thoughts here)…

I like to learn about things by immersion.

I go out and look for all sorts of sources of information on a topic,

consume them all,

then form my own thoughts and opinions about them.

Generally, if they make me feel better, I like them…they are for me.

If I don’t feel better…

I look for something else.
That’s how I learned to cook.

I read lots (I mean hundreds) of cook books.

Then I just started practicing and figuring out what works for me.

Now, I just COOK.

I don’t use recipes or anything

I just know what to put together to make a great dish.

I have used the same approach with a lot of things…

especially in my journey to KILL Chronic Pain in my life.

One of my favorite tools…is meditation.

I have read LOT of them.

I read them,

I do them,

I tweak them again and again,

until they feel perfect for me.
So here is one from Lynn that you can do the same thing to…if you like it.

I am

I am

I AM Well-Being

Close your eyes…and take a few moments to relax fully with several deep breaths.  When you are ready, visualize yourself at the center of a massive figure eight of liquid white light.  Sent the bottom of the figure eight down into Mother Earth, looping it around her core.  Now make the figure eight top-heavy by looping the upper half far, far, up into the universe.  Remember, you are the center, so now…shine! shine! shine!!!  Intensify both loops from your center and make the light of your figure eight glow with lots of love.

Sit for a moment and feeeeeel what you are doing.  Allow your frequency to rise.  Feel the love you are sending to–and wrapping around–the center of Mother Earth.  Feel the love coming back to you, from the universe, down the light-lines, of your huge loop.  Feel that love flowing into you, then flow it out.  Feel it. Feel it. Feel it.  And now, as you continue to intensify the light, the magnetics, and the love flowing and attracting from both loops, say silently and feeeeeel, “From this moment on, I intend for well-being to be the dominant vibration in my life.”

“From this moment on, I will say yes to well-being.”

“From this moment on, I will remember that the core of me, my essence , the totality of all that I am is security, wellness, freedom, knowing and well-being.”

“From this moment on, I acknowledge that my Source is pre well-being and I am my Source.

“From this moment on, I will do all I am capable of doing to remain in harmony with this greater vibration that I am.”

“And now, from the Light of God that I am, I ask all who walk with me, all who teach me, and all who stand by me to assist me in relaxing into the vibration of well-being, and into the absolute knowing that all is truly well.  Above all, I ask my God-force to flow within me at all times, and to help me feel the power and the security of that flow.  So be it!  Come back slowly, knowing you have changed.”

“The more energy of love you flow out, the more of it you will become.”

Sit with this a bit.
How does it make you feel?
What kind of well-being do you think will be flowing through you if you do this every day, say for a week?
I dare you to do it…
