30 Day Stress-Busting Bootcamp Day 2

The first thing we will do every day during this Stress-Busting Bootcamp, is pick a random page from my favorite tool (Flip Book) and use that as our guiding thought for the day. Here is today’s random pick from ‘Flip Book, Your Secret Weapon In A World Gone Wild”.

Love Folks As They Are

What does this phrase mean to you?

What could it mean for you?

Jot down what comes to mind immediately.

Perhaps write it on a piece of paper and carry it with you throughout your day. Then as thoughts occur to you, capture them, by writing them down. I do this when I do not have my personal flip book handy. You see, I am always working on a new flip book of my own.

If nothing comes to mind, that is ok too. Just BE with it. Not everything means anything to all of us.
For example: Here is the first thing that popped into my mind when I read this today.

• How about loving friends, family, relatives, people who are different than me, people who have beliefs that are hard for me to understand? EVERYONE and EVERYTHING.

• The hardest folks to love are the ones that need it the most.

• Remember, life is a mirror. We see in others what we are often reluctant to see in ourselves (ouch). People come into our life to teach or show us something.

• Who and what, do I find it easy to love? Who/what do I find it very hard to love? Who/what do I ‘hate’, dislike, resist? Why do I think that is?

• What if I do just love and accept everything and everyone just as they are?

• What if I stop trying to control or change anything?

• Does my opinion/judgement even really matter? Does my loving/hating anything or anyone really effect anyone, but me?

• How would accepting what is impact my stress level?
That’s it.

Write down, note what happens to you. What happens for you. How you feel.

The next thing we will do every day during this Stress-Busting Bootcamp, is DO something for the day.

Today’s Exercise:

Take action…even a tiny step in the right direction means progress…and progress in the right direction, means less stress!


Breathe Away Stress

BREATHE! The next time you begin to feel stressed today, take a deep calming breath.

Hold it. Count to 3.

How does that make you feel?

Hint: Depending on the situation, several repetitions may be required.


Be True To YOU!

Be prepared to be challenged.

DO the ‘exercises’.
