Today and for the next two days after this, we will be letting Lynn Grabhorn challenge us (and our way of thinking and believing and perceiving the world around us a bit).
I have mentioned that following my sudden cardiac arrest in 2010, one of my friends told me about Lynn and her book. He mentioned that he thought there was a PLAYBOOK to go along with it.
I bought both. After reading the book (which definitely challenged my way of seeing the world up until the point I read it), I began completing the Playbook.
It took me over 6 months to do it…
but the impact on my life, my health, me level of pain…
was nothing short of miraculous.
Was it all because of a book and some challenging activities?
But they were a very large part of it.
That and my willingness to think, choose, believe and act differently.
Lynn has Tenet’s instead of chapters in “Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting”.
I want to share a couple of the things that really made a difference to me from Tenet Nine…”We acknowledge that well-being abounds”.
Today we will talk about Well Being…
Tomorrow about shutting out the life force…
The day after that we will round it out with a summary of well being and a well being meditation!
Lynn shares the concept of the open-valve vs. the closed valve.
When we are open and receptive…
think of a running faucet,
we are allowing the well-being of the Universe to flow through us.
The water is on.
When we are being a closed valve…
the faucet is turned off and we are preventing the flow of the well-being of the universe from flowing to (and through) us.
The water is off.
Open Valve-let’s well being flow through you
Closed Valve-blocks and prevents from well being flowing through you
Lynn tells us, “It’s hard to grasp that our natural state is well-being, or that we have no reason to be anything but safe and healthy all the time, and that we have no reason to fear cancer or accidents or earthquakes or floods. But it’s true. Our natural state is well-being.”
“Poor health, lack of financial security, job instability, acts of nature, earth shortages, prejudices, these are all the result of how we–and everyone else–have been flowing energy. All of these things–and much, much, more–will continue to exist on the planet, but they will only touch those whose valves are closed.”
“…Well-being is the only thing the Universe has to offer…”
Negative flow equals negative outcomes.
Negative events do not have to mean negative outcomes…positive outcomes can come from negative events.
Remember…events are neither positive or negative…
it is our reaction and interpretation that make them so.
Take a couple of minutes to consider each of the following statements:
You can’t always feel good about conditions, but if you focus on them, you’re eventually going to achieve vibrational harmony with them.
When you feel good, you’re allowing good experiences. When you feel bad, you’re allowing bad experiences.
The trick is to look at trouble, and keep your valve open. (Look for the positive no matter what is happening around you.)
You cannot be connected to well-being, and flowing well-being, without having well-being.
Nothing comes to us that does not match our vibration.
Your physical proximity to harm and your vibrational proximity are two different things.
The Universe has contrast, but does not have negative energy. Only physicality has negative energy.
You are not a receiver of bad or good. You are an attractor.
Well-being is what we are.
I think of the concept of everything is energy.
The universe is all energy.
Well being is energy.
Well being is the universe…
Reminds me of Logic 101…from my college days.
Take a few moments to answer ponder these things.

How do these thing, thoughts and ideas, make you feel?
I will be honest…
I did not buy into some of them at first.
It took me a while to ‘consider’ them.
I have to see for myself that they were true.
I had to observe and look around my world…
examine my past experiences…
as well as read, study and search
they are totally true for me.
Are they or will you find that they are true for you too?
