On today’s video, I walk you through my process for doing this 30 Day Challenge.
How I actually create each day’s share…

Let me know if that was valuable or not.

I am doing this along with you…

to continually improve my chronic pain situation.

I went back to Louise Hay’s “You Can Heal Your Life” Companion Book and

modeled our exercise/challenge after one of hers about sickness.

Exercise Your Beliefs About Feeling More Pain

  1. The way I make myself feel more pain is…
  2. I feel more pain when I try to avoid…
  3. When I feel more pain, I always want to…
  4. When I felt more pain as a child, my mother always…
  5. My greatest fear when I am feeling more pain is that…

Here are my quick answers to these…

I am sure I could think more deeply on them and come up with more insights, but I just want to share mine…to get your juices flowing.

The way I make myself feel more pain in…

overdoing things that are not good for me
working too much
not varying my positions–sit, lay, or stand too long
exercising too much
basically NOT listening to my body

not following MY ROUTINE

doing something I KNOW is not good for me
eating certain foods (sweets, processed foods, spicy items not on my ‘highly                        beneficial’ for my blood type list)
feeling negative things like doubt, fear, worry, guilt, jealousy, frustration, anger…

I feel more pain when I try to avoid…

having to deal with things I would rather avoid…
this can be people, places, or things  (it took me 6 years to get divorced)
cleaning up my 30 years worth of clutter (yes, I am a hoarder…)
thinking or believing negative things- scarcity, lack, overwhelm, frustration, fear

When I feel more pain, I always want to…

curl up in a little ball and die…

just hide away from the world

hunker down in my cozy bed, fuzzy soft blankets and feather pillows

What I really want…is someone to notice and love me and take care of me!

When I felt pain as a child, my mother would always…

take excellent care of me…
showered me with love and attention
made sure I had everything I needed and wanted to make me feel better

My greatest fear when I’m feeling more pain is that…

I won’t be able to handle it…
I don’t know what to do…
It will never stop…
I just don’t think I can take anymore…keep living this way.
I do deserve this…

Note:  this is stinking thinking at it’s greatest…

If I ask, really?

after any of the statement above…

they are clearly revealed as lies and untruths.

Now you do them.

Finish the statements honestly for YOU.

No one else will see them…

but what might they reveal to you…

about you and your pain?

Change Happens when you say, “I deserve something better: and start to go out and get it!
