Today is Day 3 (really it is Day 11…) of our discussion and creation of our PLAY SHEET.

I know for sure it helps me with my chronic pain.
Mental (Thoughts) are the area of focus for today.
The 6 Actions Are:
- Called for guidance
- Felt my thioughts
- Decided I have a choice
- Intend on something
- Listed more wants
- Noticed more don’t wants
Called for guidance.
Are you ASKING?
Are you getting into a visious cycle of ‘stinking thinking’?
Are you noticing when your thoughts are taking you in a certain direction?
Are they taking you where you want to go…
or, maybe not?
Ask for what you need and want.
Ask for help.
A major reason I have struggled in various areas of my life…
was because I refused to ask…
for what I needed…
I just thought (figured) I should be able to figure it all out myself.
I did not want to bother or inconvenience anyone…
I bet you know what I am talking about, right?
Be open to asking and learning from others.
It is one of the quickest ways of doing or learning anything you want….
model someone who already has (or has done) what you want.
What do they think about?
Felt my thoughts?
Thoughts create feelings?
They sure do.
Feelings are emotions, right?
We experienced that, first hand, in yesterday’s exercise…
You did that, I assume.
I am sure you did.
You want to feel less pain, right?
You want to live the life you deserve, correct?
You know you DESERVE to live the life of your dreams…
You are NOT going to settle for the way things are
and just ‘get used to it’>
You are going to CHANGE things (your pain) to the way you WANT it to be…
May I suggest GONE…
a non-issue in your life…
So, can you feel your thoughts today?
A couple of times today…
really NOTICE what you are thinking about.
Stop and ask yourself…
How are these thoughts making me feel?
The first step to changing and controlling anything is to OBSERVE it.
Interestingly enough…that is often all it takes to change.
Decided I have a choice
You KNOW you have a choice about EVERYTHING in your life…
Send me some HATE mail…
Tell me all about how your situation is different, it is not your fault, how come this is happening to little old you…
I have been there.
But at some point…
I am NOT going to think this way any more.
Thinking these type thoughts…
Zaps me of my energy
Prevents me from using my power
Cuts off my control
Sends my pain through the roof…
which results in a whole lot more thoughts I don’t want to think…
because they lead to a bunch more pain I don’t want to feel!
Intend on something
What do you think the difference is between these two statements?
- Jeff says: I intend to lose 10 pounds before Thanksgiving.
- Shari says: I want to lose 10 pounds before Thanksgiving,
- Carrie says: I’ll try to lose 10 pound before Thanksgiving.
- Betsey says: I wish I could lose 10 pounds before Thanksgiving.
So…who do you think is gonna lose 10 pounds before Thanksgiving?
I contend if you intend you will succeed…get what you want…
Intention is making a decision.
It is making a choice.
It is committing to YOURSELF that you will make something happen.
Intend what you want…
and watch yourself get it!
WARNING: Intend what you don’t want (keep thinking about how bad you hurt and that you can’t take any more of it) and you will get more of it.

Noticed more don’t wants
We live in such a negative and contrary society…
We are bombarded with scarcity, lack and ‘danger’ messages by the millions…
every single day.
I was one of those ‘Warning” Mothers…
I still tell the ex-husband to drive safe…
so the kids should get a clue that my brain (and heart)
are hard-wired for everyone’s safety!
I am sure I brainwashed :safety first’ into both my kids…
there are so many things we DON”T WANT…
sometimes it is just easier and more natural to start there.
One of the biggest things I hear from people is,
“I don’t know what I want!”
I know that they do know…they just don’t know that they know it yet…
So, I encourage them to start with a DON”T WANT List.
From there, it is a simple thing to turn those don’t wants into WANTS…
I don’t want more bills.
I do want more income.
I don’t want to work more hours (if hurts too much)
I do wnat a comfortable way to genrate residual income.
I don’t want to clean the house.
I want a housekeeper.
I don’t want to feel sick and tired all the time.
I do want to be well.
I don’t want to hurt all the time.
I do want solutions to pain that work for me0
